Terms and conditions of sale
Version of 19 August 2026. These terms govern every order placed on demiin.com.
Article 1 — Identity of the seller
The demiin.com website is published by DEMIIN, Auto-entrepreneur (entreprise individuelle), whose registered office is at Hotel Oasis, Bd Mohammed V, Ville Nouvelle, 80000 Agadir, Maroc, entered in the national register of auto-entrepreneurs under number 1614868000064, common enterprise identifier (ICE) to be completed. Telephone: +212 6 67 91 65 30. Email: demiin67@gmail.com.
Hereinafter "DEMIIN" or "the seller". Any person placing an order is hereinafter referred to as "the customer".
Article 2 — Purpose
These terms set out the rights and obligations of the parties in the online sale of the products offered by DEMIIN.
Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms, which the customer declares having read before confirming the purchase.
DEMIIN may amend these terms at any time. The terms applicable to an order are those in force on the date of that order.
Article 3 — Products
The products offered are those appearing in the site catalogue on the day of consultation.
Almost all our items are one of a kind, existing in a single example. A piece that is sold is permanently withdrawn from sale. Only the local produce is made in batches and available in several units.
The photographs are as faithful as possible. As these are handmade pieces and antique objects, slight differences in shade, dimension or patina may appear; they do not constitute a lack of conformity.
For antique objects, the dates and attributions given are indicative and do not constitute a guarantee of authenticity in the sense of a formal appraisal. Meteorites are sold as unclassified specimens.
Article 4 — Prices
Prices are shown in Moroccan dirhams, all taxes included, excluding delivery costs.
Delivery costs are calculated before the order is confirmed and shown in the basket.
DEMIIN may change its prices at any time; the price that applies is the one displayed on the day of the order.
Article 5 — Orders
The customer selects the items, checks the basket, enters the delivery details, chooses a payment method, accepts these terms and confirms the order.
Confirmation of the order constitutes conclusion of the contract. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the customer.
DEMIIN reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order on legitimate grounds, in particular in the event of a previous dispute, a manifestly fraudulent order, or an item found to be unavailable.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is made by bank card through a secure platform, by bank transfer, or in cash on delivery for orders delivered within Morocco.
The customer bank details are neither collected nor stored by DEMIIN: they are entered directly on the secure server of the banking institution.
The order is dispatched only after payment has actually been received, except where payment is made on delivery.
Article 7 — Retention of title
The products remain the property of DEMIIN until the price has been paid in full. Risk passes when the parcel is handed over to the customer.
Article 8 — Delivery
Deliveries are made to the address given by the customer when ordering.
The stated times are indicative. A delay in delivery cannot give rise to cancellation or compensation, unless it exceeds thirty days from the date of the order, in which case the customer may terminate the contract and obtain a full refund.
The customer must check the condition of the parcel on delivery and record any reservation with the carrier, in writing on the delivery note, before signing.
Article 9 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Law 31-08 laying down consumer protection measures, the customer has seven days from receipt to withdraw, without giving a reason and without penalty.
DEMIIN voluntarily extends this period to fourteen days.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to hygiene products and cosmetics whose seal has been broken, nor to items personalised, engraved or sized at the customer request.
The procedure is set out on the Returns, exchanges and refunds page, which forms an integral part of these terms.
Article 10 — Warranties
The products carry the statutory warranty against hidden defects under the conditions laid down by the dahir forming the Code of Obligations and Contracts.
The following do not constitute a hidden defect, in the case of antique objects sold as seen and described as such: patina, wear from use, micro-scratches, dents, old repairs and the irregularities inherent in handmade work.
Article 11 — Liability
DEMIIN is bound by an obligation of means in the distance selling process. It cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use of the internet, in particular loss of data, intrusion, viruses or interruption of service.
Article 12 — Intellectual property
All elements of the site — texts, photographs, logo, visual identity — are the exclusive property of DEMIIN. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written permission.
Article 13 — Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and is detailed in our privacy policy.
Article 14 — Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable settlement. Failing that, the competent court shall be that of Agadir, unless a mandatory legal provision in favour of the consumer provides otherwise.
