A set of twenty-six arrowheads knapped in flint, laurel-leaf in shape, in tones ranging from honey to chocolate brown.
These bifacial points are characteristic of the Saharan Neolithic, a period when the Sahara was green and inhabited. The work is done by percussion then pressure retouch: the knapper removes thin flakes from both faces until the cutting edge is reached.
Antique objects sold as collector's items. The date given is the one commonly accepted for pieces of this type, without individual appraisal.
