Square ring with red stones on a gilt ground

A gilt square face, scattered with small red stones around a central one. The style is old, that of the ceremonial rings of North Africa.

Our rings come from the silversmiths' workshops of southern Morocco and the souks of Tiznit, historic capital of Berber jewellery, an hour and a half from Agadir. They are assembled by hand: the setting is shaped, each stone set one by one, the decoration engraved or chased with a graver.
