A flask with conical body and narrow neck, engraved with a frieze over its whole height.
Moroccan metalware — the working of brass, copper and pewter — is practised with hammer and graver in the souks of Fez, Marrakech and Tetouan. The pieces are assembled by hand and the decoration engraved line by line: no two are ever identical.
